June 9: Begin early for sunrise at the Taj Mahal, when the marble glows soft gold and the crowds are thin. With a local guide, learn the love story behind the monument, explore the main courtyard, and step inside the mausoleum (if open) for a closer look at the intricate inlay work.

After breakfast, continue to Agra Fort, the grand red-sandstone palace-fortress of the Mughal emperors, with sweeping views back toward the Taj. If time allows, add a quieter stop at the Baby Taj or Mehtab Bagh for beautiful, photo-ready perspectives across the river before returning to Delhi for your evening flight home.
